Martinho Pita é um Criativo residente em Lisboa.
Licenciado em Arquitectura e Artes pela ECA (Edinburgh College of Art) em 2007, trabalhou em vários ateliers de arquitectura como Aires Mateus (Lisboa) e Joao Pedro Falcão de Campos (Lisboa).
Em 2009 viajou para a India para trabalhar com os Urbanouveau* no desenvolvimento e implementação da "Incremental Housing Strategy" nas favelas de Yerawada, Pune e em 2010 juntou-se ao atelier de arquitectura MVRDV, em Roterdão, e trabalhou juntamente com os Urbanouveau* no projecto "Connecting-Stockholm" em Estocolmo.
Durante 2011 voltou a Lisboa para trabalhar em mais um projecto com os Urbanouveau* chamado TISA (The Informal School of Architecture) juntamente com 50 alunos multidisciplinares na Cova do Vapor, uma das últimas aldeias piscatórias na região de Lisboa.

Actualmente a viver em Lisboa, criou o Martinho Pita Studio, um atelier de carácter multidisciplinar que trabalha tanto a solo como em colaboração nas diferentes áreas artísticas, design produto, arquitetura e implementação de estratégias sociais. Os seus trabalhos retratam uma expressiva combinação entre tradição, inovação e paixão.

"Bichos" é a sua primeira aventura no mundo do design de produto e fizeram parte de exposições como "Futur Archaique" (D' Days) de Yves Mirand - Paris, "100% design" - Londres e foi escolhido para os Talents 2014 na Ambiente Messe - Frankfurt, entre outras.

Martinho Pita is a Creative based in Lisbon.

Graduated with a degree in Architecture and The Arts from ECA (Edinburgh College of Art) in 2007 worked in several architecture offices such as Aires Mateus and João Pedro Falcão de Campos, Lisbon.
In 2009 moved to India to work with Urbanouveau* and Sparcindia in the development and implementation of "Incremental Housing Strategy" in the slums of Yerawada, Pune. In 2010 joined the architectural office MVRDV, in Rotterdam, and worked with Urbanouveau* in the "Connecting-Stockholm" project in the Architecture Museum of Stockholm.
During 2011 returns to Lisbon to work on another project with Urbanouveau* called TISA (The Informal School of Architecture) along with 50 multidisciplinary students in Cova do Vapor, a fisherman village in the outskirts of Lisbon.

Currently living in Lisbon, created Martinho Pita Studio working solo and in collaboration for different artistic fields, product design, architecture and the implementation of social strategies. His works show an expressive combination of tradition, innovation and passion.

"Bichos" is his first adventure in the product design world and participated in several exhibitions including “Futur Archaique” (D’ Days) by Yves Mirand, Atelier de Passage du Retz, Paris, “100% design 2013” in London and was ricently choosen for “Talents” to be shown in “Ambient 2014” in Frankfurt.
